When you place an order or book our café for private hire, we collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and payment information. We use this information solely to process your orders and bookings.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled when you place your order via phone or in-person at the café.

Terms of Service
Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Pricing
All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
Payment
Delivery orders must be placed by phone and payment will be handled during the call. For in-café dining, collection, and private hire, payment is due at the time of service.
Cancellations & Refunds
Orders can be cancelled up to 30 minutes after placement for a full refund. After this time, cancellations may not be possible as preparation will have begun. For private hire bookings, we require 48 hours notice for cancellations.
Delivery Policy
Delivery Area
We deliver within a 6-mile radius of our café in Maldon. Use our postcode checker on the delivery page to confirm if we deliver to your area.
Delivery Times
Delivery is available on Fridays between 17:00 and 21:30. Orders should be placed at least 1 hour before your desired delivery time.
Delivery Fee
Delivery fees are calculated based on distance: £3.50 for deliveries under 4 miles, and £4.50 for deliveries between 4-6 miles.
Delivery Issues
If there are any issues with your delivery, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
Private Hire Policy
Booking
Private hire bookings are available for 2-hour slots from 5-9:30pm. The café is available Monday-Friday for private bookings.
Pricing
The hire fee is £50 for 2 hours. This covers exclusive use of the space. Food and drinks are charged separately and must be ordered on the day.
Cancellation
We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and any damage to the premises. We reserve the right to end a booking early if our policies are not respected.
Allergen Information
We take food allergies and intolerances seriously. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform us when placing your order or making a booking.
While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, please note that our kitchen handles various allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
